STAIN Kepri – The Research and Community Service Centre (P3M) of STAIN Kepri held the final seminar of the Litapdimas 2024 Research via Zoom Meeting. This activity was presented by two renowned reviewers, namely Prof. Dr. Ngainun Naim, M.H.I from UIN Tulungagung and Dr. Wirawan Fadly, M.Pd from IAIN Ponorogo on Saturday 28 September 2024.
The Head of the Centre for Research and Community Service, Abd. Rahman, M.Sos, in his remarks highlighted several technical obstacles, including the late submission of reports, which rushed the review process. However, he was optimistic that the seminar would go ahead as planned.
A total of 11 research titles were disseminated, consisting of 2 titles in the capacity building research cluster and 9 titles in the programme-based research cluster. The evaluation was carried out simultaneously by 3 research teams.
In his speech, Dr Ngainun Naim reminded the researchers not to wait for the deadline to prepare the report. He emphasised the importance of evaluating whether the research conducted is really of benefit to the institution and society. Meanwhile, Dr Wirawan Fadly added that this research is a collaborative effort that is expected to make a significant contribution at both local and national levels.
The activity was concluded by Abd. Rahman, who reminded the researchers to immediately revise the report based on the reviewers’ feedback and upload it to the Litapdimas application. He hoped that the revisions made could improve the quality of the research.
In the final session, Prof. Ngainun said that research is a process that does not stop. “If you want to produce good research, you have to keep on researching and working on it”, he said. Meanwhile, Dr. Wirawan also said that this research is a scientific development, so the results must have an impact on everyone and be presented in the form of scientific articles.[]
